Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (occasional Saturday OT)
Pay Rate: $21.30/hour
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Contract)

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an entry-level Associate Tool & Gage Technician to support manufacturing operations in the aerospace industry. In this hands-on role, you'll be directly involved in the precision work that ensures quality and safety in our aerospace components, while building vital technical skills in a dynamic, team-based environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Set and adjust precision gages using gage blocks, horizontal trimos, and other devices

• Maintain electronic inventory records and calibration logs via SAP or other systems

• Receive, store, and distribute perishable tooling, fixtures, gages, PPE, and shop supplies

• Work closely with Manufacturing, Assembly & Test departments, and external vendors

• Uphold high customer satisfaction by solving moderate-scope problems and escalating as needed

• Support the team with general tooling knowledge and contribute to continuous process improvement

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Willingness to learn and take direction

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds

• Team player with solid communication and customer service skills

Preferred (But Not Required):

• Familiarity with gage setting, perishable cutting tools, grinding wheels, and abrasive products

• Previous experience with SAP or similar inventory systems

• Basic computer skills (training provided)

• Forklift certification or willingness to be trained
