Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:
This role involves hands-on fabrication and assembly of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and avionics components. Machine set-up, sheet metal and tube fabrication, extrusion, and composite lay-up
Precision assembly and installation of powerplants, drive trains, wire harnesses, and avionics systems
Soldering on electronic products
Test article preparation, fixture setup, and data collection
Basic paint prep and application of organic coatings for corrosion protection
Work is performed on articles of limited complexity per established drawings and procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with 1+ year of related experience, or equivalent education/experience
Manufacturing or assembly experience
Strong communication skills, work ethic, and a sense of urgency in completing tasks
Must successfully complete and clear all screening requirements before assignment
Ability to read and interpret detailed work instructions (written and verbal)
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Fabrication experience
