Pay Rate:$18.00 per hour + Shift Diff. ($1.50 for 2nd shift, $2.00 for 3rd shift)

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a dedicated Inspection & Quality Technician for a full-time consulting position at a leading aerospace manufacturer in Carroll, IA. This is an exciting 12-month opportunity with temp-to-perm potential, ideal for someone looking to start or advance their career in quality assurance within the aerospace industry.

What You’ll Do

As an Inspection & Quality Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring product excellence by conducting precise inspections and maintaining compliance to the highest standards. You will:

• Inspect electronic units, assemblies, raw materials, and tooling using instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges

• Perform receiving, in-process, final inspections, and First Article Approvals

• Use blueprints, specs, and procedures to validate components and assemblies

• Operate computer systems for inspection tasks and documentation

• Conduct visual and physical inspections to ensure quality integrity

• Complete unit shakedowns and verify documentation accuracy

• Manage inspection files and conduct Preliminary Material Reviews as needed

• Adhere to EHS, Quality, and Continuous Improvement standards

Shift Options and Pay

• 2nd Shift: +$1.50/hr shift differential

• 3rd Shift: +$2.00/hr shift differential

• Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Base Pay: $18.00/hour

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn inspection processes

• Comfortable using basic measurement tools and computer systems

Preferred Traits

• Prior experience in inspection, quality control, or manufacturing is a plus

• Understanding of blueprint reading and documentation review
