Description:
Are you experienced in material handling and ready to take your career to the next level? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite and contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse.
 
Role Summary
As a Material Handler,  you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials within our warehouse or storage facility. Your expertise will help maintain the organization and safety of our materials handling processes.
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload materials within the warehouse or storage facility.
• Transport Materials: Utilize hand trucks and carts to move materials.
• Follow Guidelines: Adhere to instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Safety: Ensure the safe handling of materials to prevent damage.

 
Qualifications
You Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in the field or a related area.
• Knowledge of commonly used practices and procedures within the field.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under immediate supervision.

 
Special Considerations:

• Ability to lift generally at or below 30 lbs. without significant repetitions.
• Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks.
• Operation of a powered industrial truck may be required.

 
Skills and Competencies:

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
